No. Q3A only supported A3D 2.0 which was proprietary to just Vortex2 cards, but Id software never fully developed it. When Aureal tanked, they dropped support of it and removed 3d audio altogether in later patches. Aureal did produce a A3D 2.0 wrapper called A2D which converted the A3D 2.0 commands into DirectSound, but it was buggy as hell and caused as major performance hit.
